Health & Safety Practices

The teams at Blue Mountain Village including hotels, shops, restaurants, grounds, information services and attractions have always been committed to the highest level of health and safety practices for our guests and employees.  Following Provincial and Health Authority guidelines all businesses have developed a plan and implemented stringent practices to ensure physical distancing and cleanliness are maintained for your comfort and safety.
Limiting the Number of Guests
•    The number of guests will be monitored and may be limited during peak times. We highly recommend you Plan Ahead to avoid disappointment. If you’re able, visiting during weekdays will allow you access to more products and services but planning ahead is still recommended for hotel, restaurant and attractions reservations.
•    Parking in the Village (P2), is reserved for dining, shopping, attractions and hotel guests. See our parking page here.
•    Please be aware there is no general access to hiking on Blue Mountain. Hiking trails can be accessed with a Hiking Ticket or Pass.  Parking at the top of the Mountain is limited and reserved for customers with Blue Mountain tickets or passes.
•    Seating in the Village is very limited this year and will be reserved for Village Restaurant and Take-Away customers. With limited capacity we are unable to accommodate picnicking anywhere at the resort.
Physical Distancing
•    Wayfinding signs and markings with arrows and lanes on the pedestrian walkways have been added as well as queuing markers inside and outside shops and restaurants.
•    Outdoor restaurant and open spaces tables and seating groupings are spaced 6 feet apart.
•    For your safety and those around you, we strongly recommend you wear a mask in our public spaces. Physical distancing may not always be possible outdoors, at indoor locations and some attractions may require you wear a mask.
Masks can be purchase at the Village Market or Little Blue House.
Sanitization and Hygiene
•    Sanitization and cleaning of high-touch surfaces is regularly maintained
•    Sanitizing stations are available throughout the Village and in the public washrooms.
•    Staff are required to wear protective equipment when physical distancing of less than 6 feet  is not possible.
•    Employees have a safety check at the beginning of each shift.
•    Cashless transactions are available and encouraged. Some locations may not accept cash.
