Hosted by Canadian country artist Dean James, Live Band Karaoke puts 10 selected performers on the Subaru Stage backed by a real live band for an unforgettable country showdown full of big vocals, big energy, and serious main-character moments.
What’s Going Down
Friday, July 10 | 7pm
The night kicks off with a special performance from reigning champion Selena Villa before the competition heats up and the crowd decides who steals the show. One standout performer will win an epic getaway prize!
The winner will receive a one-night stay for two in Village accommodation, sponsored by Blue Mountain Resort, along with access to exclusive resort attractions and activities including the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, Open-Air Gondola, hiking trails, and more.

Host & Headliner
Dean James
Country artist Dean James brings high energy, crowd-favourite country hits, and a modern-meets-classic sound to the Subaru Stage as both host and headlining performer of Live Band Karaoke. Known for his engaging stage presence and genre-blending style, Dean closes out the night with a live performance at 8:30PM to keep the festival energy going long after the competition ends.

Selena Villa
Selena Villa is a 16-year-old singer, songwriter, and musician recording in the genre of Pop. She was born and raised in the city of Toronto, and since she can remember, Selena had a passion for all things music. Starting vocal lessons at the age of seven, her drive and love for music grew each day. She sings in both English and Italian and she loves sharing her heritage with others through music. Selena is excited to share her love of music with you all.
