Blue Mountain Beach

Blue Mountain Resort's private beach is just a 10-minute drive away, on the shores of Georgian Bay. Dip your toes in the shallow waters and wade in the surf or venture a little deeper with a boat rental; canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards are all available to rent.

Wasaga Beach 

The world’s longest freshwater beach is 30 minutes east of Blue Mountain. There you’ll discover a 14km stretch of sand that’s perfect for exploring at any time of year with a safe, gradual shoreline for family swimming. Collingwood Sunset Point Beach 

A 15 minute drive from Blue Mountain Village, in the nearby town of Collingwood, you will find a unique playground with ample shaded areas, a large multi-use trail and a snack bar. Click here to visit their website for more information.
Northwinds Public Beach 

The home of board sailing, Northwinds Beach is located near Craigleith Provincial Park and across the road from the historic Craigleith Depot. Enjoy the sand or climb across the rocks that stretch over the bay.
Thornbury Beach & Pier

Situated next to Thornbury Harbour, Little River Beach Park is a pebbled beach with public washrooms, a playground and parking. Thornbury is a quiant little town that deserves a drop-by no matter what. 
Christie Beach

Located at the end of Christie Beach Road, off of Highway 26 and west of the Town of the Blue Mountains. This beach offers change rooms, washrooms, playground equipment and a picnic shelter. Visit South Georgian Bay's website for more information.
