Blue Mountain Village has the well-being of our community and visitors as our highest priority. As we transition through re-opening, we want everyone to feel safe visiting and staying with us.

The following recommendations and guidelines are reviewed regularly with Grey County Public Health and align with the protocols set out in the Provincial Government Re-opening Plan. Please check back frequently as these will be updated as the plan progresses. We are committed to the health and safety of our staff, visitors and local communities and encourage mutual consideration and respect for all.

To ensure a pleasant visitor experience please be prepared to follow the below protocols or we suggest you consider visiting at another time, when restrictions have been lifted, and we can better accommodate your needs. As a gentle reminder, the Village and its stores and restaurants are navigating an early stage three re-opening, which means it will take some time to update our website in completion. We're eager to serve you but ask for everyone's patience and understanding as we transition into this re-opening. Restaurant and store hours may vary as we work through the process as hiring, training and staffing have been tight - we apologize if this causes you any inconvenience.
On-Site Protocols
  • Masks are recommended while in the village and at the resort. They are mandatory inside, while in line ups and when you are unable to stay 6 feet apart.
  • Physical distancing of 2 metres is strictly enforced by our ambassador team. Follow the walking path arrows indicating the flow of traffic and respect when Village staff ask you to increase the distance between you and other people even if they are part of your group.
  • Limit your travelling group size. Many of the village amenities and businesses have adapted to handle only smaller groups. This includes groups being able to congregate on our walking paths or open spaces.
  • Respect and follow instructions that are given from On-Site Security or Village Ambassadors
