Our 14th Annual Golf Event was a fabulous day and we graciously raised over $80,000!!!
We are proud to announce with our 14th year under our belt, we have raised over $1.5 million dollars, which directly impacts our community!

The Blue Mountain Village Foundation is dedicated to the financial support of registered charitable organizations in the Southern Georgian Bay region whose activities provide benefit to the residents of local communities. The Foundation dedicates to enhance the quality of life in our local communities through its financial support of charitable organizations in the areas of health, human services, education, the arts, culture, the environment and recreation. Consideration will be given to children and family programs.

Supporting: Georgian Bay Community School, Hospice Georgian Triangle, Free Spirit Gardens, Collingwood Youth Centre, Events for Life, Home Horizon, Craigleith Heritage Depot and 5 bursaries for local students in high school and Georgian College.

CFL Quaterback Damon Allen joins the Blue Mountain Village Foundation charity golf tournament this year!

"We are thrilled that Damon Allen is able to join us at the 14th Annual charity golf tournament" says Catherine Smart - Foundation Manager.  "Damon is all about supporting youth and is happy to reinforce that message in association with the Foundation mandate."  
Damon Allen has been mentioned as one the of the greatest CFL quaterbacks of all time after winning four Grey Cups with three different teams.  He also was a three time Grey Cup MVP.  In 2005, he was the CFL's Most Outstanding Player at 42 years old, becoming the oldest MVP of any North American sports franchise.  He was a formidable passer and rusher, as he retirned only 323 yards behind his brother Marcus.  In 2012, he was elected into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.   
In May 2010, Allen launched the Damon Allen Quarterback Academy (4), in which he personally teaches the skills and strategies of quarterbacking to students of all ages and skill levels.
