Summer Scavenger Hunt

Daily | 12-5PM | Start at the Welcome Centre

Fun for the whole family! Our scavenger hunt is a great way to explore the Village and have fun while you play, you’ll also be learning a few fun facts along the way. Use the hints to find pictures hidden throughout the Village that will have answers to all the questions in the scavenger hunt. Once you answer all the questions, return to the Welcome Centre to claim your prize!

iwa First Tracks Yoga

Friday, August 5th | iwa Spa | 8:30AM

Enjoy a 40-minute guided hike up Blue Mountain followed by a yoga class overlooking the vistas of Georgian Bay. Descend on Ontario’s only Open-Air Gondola. Please note this is an intermediate-difficult level hike and is only recommended for those with moderate hiking experience.

Family Entertainment: Balloon Twisting

Saturday, August 3rd | Events Plaza | 12-3PM

Enjoy the whimsical art of balloon twisting in the Village Events Plaza! Watch in amazement as talented balloon artists create colorful and fun shapes, including dogs, cats, swans, swords, dinosaurs, and giraffes. Perfect for all ages, this delightful activity adds a touch of magic to your visit. Don’t miss the fun!

For 17 years families across Canada have been singing and dancing along with Sonshine and Broccoli, the Juno-nominated duo from Toronto who know how important it is for children to have music they can call their own. Described as "brilliant performers whose music and energy are infectious" by Chris Kennedy of the Royal Ontario Museum, best friends Lisa Sonshine and Brock Burford have always made their fans feel like part of the family with their upbeat and interactive performances.

MR.B and Johnny Anderson is an acoustic cover duo bringing a unique sound and energy to each song. We play a variety of country music as well as a mix of classic rock and pop ranging from the 70's to the present. Added harmonies and percussion's give MR.B the full sound needed to get the crowd engaged. 

HEADLINER: James Blonde Band

Phil, Steph & Neil comprise the entity that is James Blonde. These multi talented men have been writing bad jokes and great music together forming the band you know as James Blonde. The Band is described by its following as a sound that resonates through generations. Their message gives light to the struggle, the celebration, the human condition, disenchantment and obsession, to a sometimes dark but always dance-worthy beat.

Jenny Howes Duo

With percussion-soaked rhythm, feel good melodies, and rich, soulful vocals; the Jenny Howes Duo provides a captivating and undeniable experience for their listeners. The Jenny Howes Duo has been influenced by a wide variety of music spanning the ages. The couple is known for taking your traditional pop, classic rock, and grunge favourites; and making them all their own.

Mo Guzman is a self-taught singer, guitarist and percussionist who began his career busking on the streets of downtown Toronto. His gift of raw vulnerability transcends his audience in a heartfelt experience, catering to a variety of different occasions. Mo's unique vocal style encompasses a broad range of music. His inter-generational repertoire ranges from the 1950’s to modern day.

HEADLINER: Mike McCarthy Band

The Mike McCarthy Band is a Canadian musical ensemble celebrated for its dynamic fusion of alternative country, southern rock, and Canadiana influences. Led by the versatile singer-songwriter Mike McCarthy, the band delivers a captivating blend of heartfelt lyrics, gritty guitar riffs, and soulful melodies that resonate with audiences far and wide.

Jess Bowman is a singer/songwriter/musician who prides herself in playing and writing music that any age can relate to and enjoy. With a wide variety of different artists, new and old, Jess genuinely loves what she does and it shows throughout her performances.

Live Music: Sarah Fazackerly

Monday, August 5th | Subaru Stage | 5-8PM

Sarah Fazackerley is a multi-instrumental singer/songwriter and cover artist who has performed in Toronto and surrounding areas for the past 10 years as a solo artist as well as a member of other acts, including JJ and the Pillars. Her original music has received national rotation on radio programs such as CBC Radio 1 and 2, and local rotation on programs like 94.9 The Rock, among others.
