Lu Jayan, a versatile artist born in Venezuela and now based in Canada, is a true musical powerhouse, excelling as a singer, songwriter, music producer, sound engineer, and a highly sought-after background vocalist. His exceptional journey has earned him a well-deserved place in prestigious organizations like the "Latin Grammys," BMI, and the Canadian Academy of Recording and Sciences (CARAS). With a remarkable portfolio of accomplishments, Lu Jayan has graced the stages of Canada's most prominent events, captivating audiences at the TD Salsa Festival in Toronto, the Venezuelan Festival in Montreal, the Fiesta de las Culturas de St Rémi, the Festival de Brossard, and many more noteworthy events.

Notably, Lu Jayan's versatility as an artist extends to his roles as a background vocalist for internationally recognized artists such as Edgar Joel, Oscar Quezada, and Nino Segarra, among others. His vocal contributions have added depth and dimension to the performances of these celebrated musicians, further solidifying his reputation within the industry. Republic, Chile and Ecuador. The passion for bachata and merengue runs in the veins of each of
the members which can be felt and seen in their music and performances.



 

DJ Nilson

Born in the Dominican Republic, DJ Nilson Diaz Gomez arrived in Canada in 1998 and brought with him just a few salsa records, CDs, and a deep love and passion for the flavour of the music and dance. Being a professional dancer in Puerto Plata, he also had a strong feel for the unique and 'danceable' rhythms the music had to offer. It was that same love and passion for salsa that spawned his professional DJ career in Toronto in 2001. Today, DJ Nilson's rare and beautiful salsa music collection consists of over 4000 vintage LPs and CDs! His favourite styles are New York and Puerto Rican, both new and old school, Boogaloo, Latin Soul, and Latin Jazz. Nilson has unparalleled respect for the dancers that are on the
floor dancing to his music. 
Latin Swing Orchestra

Bass player Fhanor Molina, began his musical experience at an early age in the city of Cali-Colombia, where he has participated in several large musical groups and Salsa bands. He is a highly recognized Latin artist in the community and has had the opportunity to record several professional LP's and perform internationally. 

After years of musical training and dedication, Fhanor Molina started his own Latin orchestra know as the Latin Swing Orchestra, to carry forth a modern musical legacy of Salsa and Tropical Music. The Latin Swing Orchestra is a group of professional musicians that has had the opportunity to participate in numerous festivals such as the Beaches Jazz International Festival, TD Niagara Jazz Festival, Brantford Jazz Festival, as well as private and local parties in various cities throughout Ontario. 

La BORINQUEÑA

La Borinqueña is a salsa band in Toronto with an authentic sound and hard beating tunes focused on the dancer. Created in 2017, La Borinqueña has already made a name for itself among musicians and audience. The Orchestra’s main style is influenced mainly from Puerto Rican salsa style and singers. The style is relaxed yet with intense rhythms, strong horn arrangements and catchy singer lines, producing an authentic blend of conservative and aggressive salsa style. Led by bassist Ruddy Bolaños, an active and in high demand bassist in the Latin scene, Ruddy has been working in the Toronto scene since the early 1990’s, also across Canada and United States with different artist. La Borinqueña is composed by experienced musicians from many parts of Latin America and Canada, recently released their first originarl single “Dejame Ya" and working.

Santiago Moa

Santiago Moa is a Latin singer, producer, and songwriter who has participated in more than 50 music festivals around Colombia, Cuba, and the United States, sharing his Salsa rhythm wherever he goes. Santiago has been honored with the Colombian National Composition Award for his record 'La Inocente' in 2019. He has also released songs mixing salsa with RnB, Jazz, and Urban, which is bringing something new to the stage. Moa has a degree in musical composition, so he has also worked as a producer for Jazz Bands and independent artists, getting them to release iconic records.
Currently based in Toronto, Santiago is taking his Latin Jazz style all over the city, from live music Bars to local festivals, as he still recording fresh salsa music not only for Latin communities but for everyone who deserves high-quality music.

Pablo Terry & Sol de cuba

For over 20 years, flautist Pablo Terry & his band Sol de Cuba, have been entertaining audiences across the GTA, and Ontario. 
When you need good, danceable, exciting live music, Sol de Cuba delivers! You’ll hear a wide range of musical genres, Cuban Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Mabo, Brazilian Samba, Colombian Cumbia, to name a few!

With Pablo Terry’s warm, winning smile, dynamic stage presence and musical dexterity, he leaves audiences happy, excited and dancing for more
